St. Barnabas provides a wealth of experience for those who train in the hospital’s
extensive range of professional healthcare programs.
More than 250 residents train at St. Barnabas annually in many different specialties. In addition to rigorous clinical and academic training, the hospital offers medical students and residents hands-on experience in an on-site state-of-the-art
simulation lab.
The Research Committee supports and assists investigators in navigating through the human research process at St. Barnabas Hospital. Members of the Research Committee, the IRB and the Research website provide guidance in the following areas:
St. Barnabas Hospital employs more than 350 full-time RNs and is a training site for nursing students affiliated with Monroe College, Bronx Community College and the New York Institute of Technology. The Nursing Department also hosts a master’s degree program with the College of New Rochelle for nurse administrators, nurse educators and nurse practitioners.
