General Dentistry
St. Barnabas has one of the largest hospital-based general dentistry programs in the nation. Our team of specialists offers pain-free, quality dental care to children and adults of all ages, including patients with medical problems and disabilities.
St. Barnabas Hospital uses a completely computerized dental system to provide you with the best dental care that technology can offer.
Digital Radiography
St. Barnabas Hospital uses digital radiography so that every time the dentist takes an X-ray, you are exposed to less radiation. Digital radiography also allows for full charting of your teeth, so that no matter where you go, your dental information is only a click away in our databases.
Dental Lasers
St. Barnabas Hospital was one of the first hospitals to use dental lasers, which can eliminate the need for a shot of local anesthesia. Instead of using drills, dental lasers can be used on teeth to remove decay and treat gum disease. St. Barnabas Hospital also uses dental lasers for other procedures such as root canals, biopsies and tooth bleaching.
