St. Barnabas Hospital to Host Child Safety ‘Baby Shower’
Women planning to deliver at St. Barnabas Hospital are invited to attend a child safety “baby shower” on Tuesday, March 22 (4 - 6 p.m.) in the hospital’s Braker Building boardroom (Third Avenue & 183rd Street).
“Prospective mothers will get the chance to learn about the correct installation of child car seats and receive pointers on how to baby-proof their homes,” said Sally Urang, the hospital’s Maternity Performance Improvement Coordinator/Perinatal Safety Nurse. “Raffles will also be held for the giveaway of child car seats and gift baskets. It’s an event that every new mother should consider attending.”
The event is sponsored by SafeKids and St. Barnabas Hospital. Space is limited and attendees must RSVP to 718-960-5030.
